Highly respected within the theatre business, David, principal of StagedRight, has a wealth of experience he wishes to pass on to his students.
StagedRight has grown in strength and has got a fantastic reputation throughout Cumbria, often performing to sell out audiences.
Due to the Youth Theatre's success, the students are often asked to present concerts for the community, enter competitions, are chosen for professional productions such as the touring production of ‘Joseph’ (featuring people from BBC’s ‘Any Dream Will Do’)

They also have appeared in professional pantomimes and have invitations to appear on television and films.
 As well as various concerts throughout the year, we also present our own West End style productions every year, which are lavish, featuring full orchestra, professional stage sets and spectacular costumes.
The performances of 'Les Miserables School Edition' 2007, Scrooge - The Musical 2008 and Peter Pan 2009 were all nominated for national awards

We have won Youth Choir of the Year in the Carlisle & District Music Festival for 4 years and have had individual winners in numerous categories for singing and drama.

The Youth Theatre is open to anyone aged 8 to 18 years and is held at Carlisle Racecourse in Carlisle every Friday 6.30pm – 9.30pm. This venue is spacious and enables the students to have separate areas in which to learn singing, dance and drama, as well as being able to have one to one tuition.
We are proud to lead the way in caring for our members with an extensive child protection policy, We have an extensive team of teachers, which include, our Musical Director, Vocal Coach, Accompanist, Drama Teacher, 3 Choreographers and our registered chaperones. All are CRB checked.
